Kutaisi International Short Film Festival Call For Entries

Submit your short film to the 3rd edition of the Kutaisi International Short Film Festival
The Kutaisi International Short Film Festival (KISFF) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the long-awaited 3rd edition. Following the success of its previous editions, KISFF has grown into a prominent event in the Georgian film industry and gained worldwide recognition.
In May 2021, the festival was held amid the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, and KISFF left an indelible mark. The festival showcased exceptional talent and left a lasting impression on Kutaisi’s cultural landscape. Building on this success, the 2022 edition included an expanded competition program, retrospectives and an esteemed international jury, further strengthening the reputation of the KISFF.
Last year, KISFF received submissions from various genres, including documentary and fiction works, with a total of 30 films competing for recognition. The festival also featured an impressive out-of-competition program, a remarkable Jonas Mekas 100 retrospective, a retrospective of modern and classic Georgian short films, programs highlighting Ukrainian short films, and the program for the 2022 Oberhausen International Short Film Festival.
Now the KISFF team is eagerly awaiting your films in the documentary and fiction categories. By submitting your film, you grant Kutaisi International Short Film Festival the right to use certain parts of your film, including the trailer, teaser and film poster, for promotional purposes.
To submit your film, please ensure that you are the creator of the project or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it to the festival. It is essential that you carefully review and comply with the entry rules and regulations below:
